The role is a 6 months paid and benefitted returnship which is aimed at providing you with the necessary extensive internal resources to support your return to paid work. During your time with us, you will be provided with an opportunity to use your specialist skills, expertise, interests, and abilities on meaningful projects. Following the 6 months returnship, successful participants may be eligible for full time employment opportunities.

We are looking for an enthusiastic RePower Program (Technical Specialist – Turbocharger Performance) to join our team specializing in (Turbocharger matching, performance and engine simulation) for our (Turbocharger Business Unit) in (Huddersfield, UK) / YOUR REMOTE HOME OFFICE. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Work on future ICE engine projects 2027
Opportunity to work on ‘Beyond Diesel’ projects, eg Fuel Cell and H2 ICE
Opportunity to work on Advanced Method Development project for future tools
Work with key customers to analyse engine test data and drive architecture choices
Be part of a team on the cutting edge of turbocharger, ICE and future power air handling solutions.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
A strong inquisitive mindset backed up with good engineering / physics fundamentals.
A strong technical communicator
Ability to deal with ambiguity and to find a way forwards using sound engineering fundamentals.
Good ability to plan and understand resource requirements to ensure work is delivered
