Communications & Content Leader
Description
We are looking for a talented Communications & Content Manager to join our team specializing in Communications for our Components Business Segment in Indianapolis, IN. This is a hybrid role.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Provides communications support to Components General Managers and President and consultative support to the Components leadership team
Leads communication integration projects and initiatives
Plan logistics, develop content and host in-person and/or virtual employee events and town halls that engage Components employees
Ensures alignment between the business unit(s) and Cummins utilizing a “One Cummins” approach in all communications
Will be building strong relationships with key support staff to gain buy in, insight and alignment
Ability to prioritize tasks based on the overall impact to the Components segment, while maintaining the flexibility to manage impromptu requests
Be creative - research and understand the latest trends in the internal communications space and how they could be applied to meet Components communications objectives, as well as tactics being used in other parts of Cummins
Pulls regular metrics on current tactics and uses a data driven approach for recommending or evaluating new communication tactics
Adheres to AP writing style in all communications
Will be conveying information graphically via PowerPoint slides, HTML emails, infographics
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
College, university, or equivalent degree in communications, marketing, or a related subject. MBA, Master's in Communications, Master's in Marketing, or equivalent degree HIGHLY preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications and marketing.
Robust writing/content development experience
Experience creating and executing communication plans
Graphic design skills and experience

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
