This is an exciting opportunity in Indianapolis, Indiana for a Digital Commerce Manager. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

  • Responsiblefor leading the digital commerce team. This includes, but is not limited to,managing listings on local directories and online reviews, Cummins locatormaps, e-commerce, data analytics and insight around return on investment fordigital marketing campaigns, and managing the Cummins Google AdWords account.

  • Management of digitaltools (SweetIQ, MetaLocator, Google AdWords)

  • Develops short- and long-term communication objectives.

  • Analyze data from digital channels to determine ROI and provide marketing withstrategic recommendations to improve campaign performance.

  • Manage Google AdWords account along with active campaigns.

  • Interacts with business partners and stakeholders to strategize, develop, and implementintegrated marketing plans.

  • Consults with business leadership to establish digital marketing strategies andensure communication, planning, and monitoring is effectively meeting the needsof customers.

  • Identifies and shares best practices in area ofexpertise.

  • Interacts with product management, salesmanagement, and external suppliers to develop and implement integratedcommunication plans.

  • Manages, coaches, and develops staff; works withemployees to set goals in training and development, performance, and careerplanning.

  • Identifies department issues, problems, andopportunities to support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Develops and manages digital commerce budget,financial controls, and risk ensuring operations are executed efficiently andwithin established budgets.

  • Establish, monitor and report key performancemetric for e-commerce.

  • Develop and oversee various digital marketingtools including planning and implementing changes and improvements.

Qualifications

Skills

Focus On Customer/Stakeholder Needs - Basic understanding of customers and stakeholders.

Message Creation - Uses a message triangle or appropriate materials when creating communication or training materials.

Digital Publishing - Understands and can display proficiency using common digital publishing concepts and platforms (content management systems, websites, social media, digital signage, mobile apps, etc.)

Digital Campaign Planning - Knowledge of common digital marketing campaign tactics (E-mail, search engine optimization/marketing. social media marketing, digital display advertising). Provides direction and has the ability to guide team on campaign planning activities.

Digital Communications Design and Development - knows the processes to create digital collateral and able to lead the process using the approved tools. Understands digital media types and the basic concepts of content management, user centered design and A/B version testing.

Metrics and Analytics - Determines metrics and interprets analytics to evaluate effectiveness; develop and implement dashboards for performance reporting.

Education, Licenses,Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree in marketing, communications or a related subject required.

Experience

Significant level of relevant work experience, including supervisory experience, required. Customer facing experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
