This is an exciting opportunity in Indianapolis, IN for a Service Channel Strategy Manager. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading engineering projects such as New Product Development, Value Package Introduction and Systems Product Validation.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

Leads the Service Capability process within the Product Business Units Customer Care function and New Product Introductions to assure that the requirements for the channel are defined, developed and delivered to meet the Distribution Business Unit and Product Business Units needs.

Accountable for the Service Capability process as it interfaces with the business account teams to identify the paths of market and where products are being shipped for consumption.

Accountable for the Service Capability, Capacity and Coverage process within product Business Units and Synchronized Business Plan; Identifies the ability to supply customer support against demand.

Provides the business support required to manage and implement Information Technology projects from requirements through implementation.

Responsible for defining and maintaining Certification Standards that meet customer, channel and Product Business Unit needs for authorized service providers.

Responsible to deliver, maintain, and communicate Certification Requirements including readiness schedule, parts, information, tools, and training requirements for all Value Package Introduction and New Product Introduction launches to Distribution Business Unit Regional Service Capability managers.

Removes barriers for achieving certification targets within the Product Business Units.

Drives to continuously improve the Certification Process within the Product Business Units.

Accountable for Key Performance Indicators and reporting on Capability, Capacity and Coverage to key stakeholders; Monitors and reports progress against plan to key stakeholders.

Qualifications

Skills

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree in Business or Engineering related field required.

Experience

Significant relevant experience required. Supervisory experience prefered.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Responsible for identifying and closing the Capability, Capacity and Coverage gaps for EBU current product

  • Development of the Industrial segment dealer footprint

  • Co-lead the SBP Customer support review along with the EBU Customer Support team

  • Strong collaboration with DBU Channel Management team to streamline the Service Providers Certification process

  • Close interaction with OEM's and dealers to promote the benefits of being a Cummins Certified location

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
