Labor Relations Manager
Studies : Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related degree
Experience : At least 5 years in similar position.
Knowledge: IRIS, l eadership experience, proven experience in the field of labor relations, labor acumen/business strategy, understanding of all aspects of labor and human resources related laws, regulations, policies, principles, concepts and practices, required to have the ability to work in ambiguous situations
Activities: working closely with Human Resources Business Partner´s and HR Director to develop targeted strategies for individual contract negotiations and guidelines for successful labor relations, provide day-to-day advice regarding compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws, will be in contact with the different business unit, be adaptable to different leadership styles, work with different levels, be able to work with different levels of command, very Open to a matrix organization. 3-shift responsibilities for the different business units.
Labor relations activities; implementation of RIT LFT (federal Labor law). (investigation of cases) administrative minutes, contract terminations.
Provides services to personnel.
Direct supervision of the administrative area of the Human Resources department.
Preparation of reports (Absenteeism, demographics, Employee Assistance Program administration)
Follow up on disciplinary actions.
Controls the administrative personnel files.
Coordinates Orientation Session to newly hired personnel.
Coordination of Hiring of shop personnel.
Organize the following activities (Valentine’s Day, Three wise men day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Children’s day, Company picnic, Halloween, Christmas day, special events).
Involved in community improvement activities.
Plans and programs improvement of CPE.
Represents the company with the labor authorities.
Coordinates issues related to the day care center.
Accommodates the inspections from government agencies, especially STPS (labor Agency).
Participates in the company savings fund.
Coordinates with legal counsel to manage the issues related to STPS (Labor Agency) and JLCA (Labor Legal claims board).
English: Advance/Bilingual (Proficient at communicating, verbally and written is necessary).
Responsible for labor related issues: management of labor lawsuits, claims and, settlements and Company events organization and coordination.
Employee satisfaction surveys application and results analysis.
Develops and implements H.R policies and procedures.
Teamwork with the recruitment area to attract the best talent to the Company.
Management of the HR area budget
Implements cost reductions programs.
Involved in the “responsible corporate citizen program”.
Coordination of assistance employee’s programs
Coordination of payroll activities.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.
Significant relevant work experience required.
Proven Experience in the Juarez Maquila Industry for at least 5 years in similar position
