Heavy Diesel Mechanic – Workshop
Laverton - $5,000 sign on bonus!
Competitive hourly rate, plus overtime bonus super
Fixed rotating roster 2 weeks dayshift, 1 week afternoon
Modern well-equipped facility to be based out from!
We are looking for a talented Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team in Laverton specialising in Heavy Vehicle repairs and maintenance for our On-highway automotive customers.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
-Deliver a first-class service to our customers
-Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel and engine products
-Diagnose and repair various engines
-Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
-Work with other major OEM’s such as Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr etc.
-Complete required documentation
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
-Mechanical trades qualified - Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Light vehicle mechanic or plant mechanic with heavy experience
-Experience as a technician in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products
-Ideally possess engine rebuild and reconditioning experience or knowledge
-Hitachi, Komatsu & Liebherr experience highly desirable
-Solid diagnostic capabilities with the help of systems on computers
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive above award hourly rate paid as a permanent salary
Overtime penalties for all work above standard Monday – Friday 38-hour work week
$5,000 sign on bonus (Conditions apply)
