Quality Process Improvement Lead- 2 nd Shift Overnight

We are looking for a talented Team Leader join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Components Business Segment in Manning, SC

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Monitor the performance and output of the team and assign tasks and inputs to ensure that work specifications, schedules, volume, cost, waste targets and quality standards are met.

  • Assists management in organizing and coordinating headcount and overtime needs to meet production and delivery schedules.

  • Ensures team members are using and following process documentation where applicable as part of operator training and defect investigation.

  • Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke and visual standards.

  • Assists management in organizing and coordinating headcount and overtime needs to meet production and delivery schedules.

  • Identifies and controls non-conforming material.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Manufacturing Knowledge - Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement.

  • Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

The Quality Process Improvement Leader will track employee training and ensure effective training methods are utilized.

  • The Quality Process Improvement Leader will be responsible for daily supervision of assembler technicians that perform production inspection.

  • The Quality Process Improvement Leader is responsible to communicate with all levels of the organization as it related to quality.

  • The Quality Process Improvement Leader is required to understand and support MOS metrics.

  • The Quality Process Improvement Leader will ensure that information on the quality communication boards is maintained.

  • The Quality Process Improvement Leader through his direct supervisory responsibility is to ensure that assemblies meet all customer quality requirements

  • The Quality Process Improvement Leader is responsible to adhere to and support all quality, safety, production goals and requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
