This is an exciting opportunity in Milton Keynes for a Support & Test Engineer.

Cummins Electrified Power are a leading provider offlexible battery solutions for demanding automotive and powerapplications .

Your impactwill be seen in these and other ways:

  • By being a key contributor in the testing of high voltage battery systems

  • By providing accurate reporting of results and findings from tests.

  • By serving as a group lead on projects with minimal supervision.

  • By demonstrating an awareness of engineering principles and leveraging in the development of new products / technology.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience in automotive high voltage battery systems and harness build and assembly

  • Experience in build, assembling and testing of prototype and production mechanical and electrical parts

  • Problem resolution / build improvement in support of the rest of the engineering team

  • Knowledge of battery testing procedures (End of Line, functional and safety) for automotive applications

  • Knowledge of production part approval procedures & processes (PPAP)

  • Knowledge in electrical, e-machines, HV batteries parts and systems integration, verification and validation processes

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

College, University, or equivalent degree in Engineering required.
