This is an exciting opportunity in Mineral Points, Wisconsin for a 2nd Shift Material Handler.
Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading engineering projects such as New Product Development, Value Package Introduction and Systems Product Validation.
This position is responsible for the delivery of components used in the production lines and providing Operations with the support they need. This position must also ensure accurate inventory levels and accurate labeling of bins and totes. Various material handling equipment such as standup forklifts and sit-down forklifts will need to be used to provide operations with the support necessary for everyday operations.
§Transport incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas
§Maintain organized aisle ways and staging areas
§Supply production areas with needed materials from inventory
§Operate fork lift or other power driven equipment
§Load or unload material onto or from pallets, trays, or shelves
§Make accurate transactions in scanners to maintain accurate inventory levels
§Maintain organized areas
§Understand and apply appropriate and prescribed safety procedures and practices
§Perform other duties as directed by the Team Leader
Skills & Abilities:
§Fork lift certification/license or ability to obtain one
§Ability to work well with others
§Ability to work efficiently and handle multiple tasks
§Good oral communication skills
Education & Experience:
§1-2 years experience working in a similar position is preferred
Compensation and Benefits
Base hourly rate commensurate with experience.
