Filtration Payroll Analyst Senior

We are looking for a talented Filtration - Payroll Analyst Senior to join our team specializing in payroll functions (such as unions, executive compensation plans, ex-military, deferred comp, and/or stock option payments) for our Cummins Filtration Business in Nashville, TN / candidates in MST, CST, and EST welcome to apply. This role is considered hybrid/remote.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Reviews the issuance of checks, preparation of off-cycle or replacement checks, and maintenance of payroll system information; reviews the information prepared for general ledger entries and other accounting and financial reporting activities associated with payroll.

  • Leads the review and preparation of data necessary for the filing of payroll-related tax returns and miscellaneous withholding forms, ensures generation of year-end reports.

  • Mobility Administration - Implements and administrates operational processes to ensure the seamless movement of talent in alignment with applicable policies, taxation, immigration laws, global cash payroll, local legislation and internal controls procedures.

  • Data Analytics - Discovers, interprets and communicates qualitative and quantitative data; determines conclusions relying on knowledge of business or functional frameworks; simultaneously applies statistics, data validity, data visualization, and problem solving approaches to effectively extract meaningful patterns and business insights; presents conclusions and outcomes that enable data driven business decisions.

  • Compensation and Benefits Administration - Administers policies following Cummins plan design to ensure accurate and consistent application of Cummins policies in order to make and communicate appropriate compensation and benefits decisions; complies with local legislative and tax requirements to ensure Cummins policies meet governance and legislative requirements.

  • Payroll Administration - Translates company policies, tax and legislative requirements in the delivery of accurate and timely employee payments and reporting; ensures compliance with applicable regulations and internal control procedures.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • at least 8 years of experience in payroll functions in large complex companies (in any combination of the categories listed above).

  • Cross functional abilities to understand regulations and laws for taxes, retirement plans, and/or benefits. (to list a few)

  • experience working with ADP Workforce Now and/or ADP Celergo.

  • Customer focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field, adequate working experience, and/or FPC/CPP Certifications a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
