We are looking for a talented Financial Analyst- Sales & Marketing to join our Filtration team in Nashville, TN / Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Responsible for the preparation of analyses and reports for department managers. Supports the annual budget process, expense and/or staffing forecasts or statistical reporting. Prepares statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis. Prepares variance analysis to explain deviations vs budget and forecast.
Prepares analyses and reports for department managers. Advanced Excel skills in charting, pivot tables, and/or reporting processes.
Works with assigned organizational unit(s) to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting.
Supports month end close.
Prepares and consolidates financial data.
Responsible for most journal entries & account reconciliations within the NA Sales & Marketing functions, including billing suspense allocation, growth and incentive programs, rebates accruals, promotions and expense accruals.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
at least 1 year of experience in Big 4, or large corporate company.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, progress towards CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
Advanced Excel skills, and experience with HFM and/or Oracle based software, preferred, (but willing to train).
US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles - Evaluates US accounting standards to record transactions in compliance with requirements and company policies; assesses the accounting requirements and objectives to determine the implications on the business and communicate to stakeholders with varying financial knowledge.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
