This is an exciting opportunity in Nashville, TN for a Senior Compensation Analyst, Audit and Compliance. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects.
Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
Conduct comprehensive analysis, summarizes information and assists in the development of recommended actions in support of compensation and benefits policies and procedures. Administers the collection, consolidation and interpretation of data required by human resources leadership.
Conduct complex studies and analysis for assigned countries; prepares and reviews market survey submissions; partners with data suppliers, manager groups, and line human resources.
Conduct job evaluations using the organization’s job evaluation tool; trains others on the use of the tool and conducts peer reviews of completed job evaluations.
Guide line human resources with compensation and benefits related processes; evaluates issues and provides problem resolution; handles moderately complex program interpretations and resolutions.
Prepare reports, evaluations, and other research regarding compliance issues and filings; may conduct analysis to evaluate plan effectiveness and strategy assessment.
Participate in the delivery and assessment of standard and annual processes such as annual merit review and benefits enrollment.
Participate as a team member to develop and improve global strategies and policies.
May develop and deliver compensation and benefits training to managers and line human resources; participates in and provides input to overall human resources training for compensation and benefits content.
Conduct research to understand external market trends and practices; may lead an initiative to incorporate relevant findings into internal practices.
Skills and Experience Required:
Training Delivery - Instruct learners in a manner thatengages and adjusts to individual and group needs resulting in knowledge,skills and abilities that can be applied on the job.
Compensation and Benefits Administration - Translate Cumminsplan design, statutory and tax requirements in the communication and deliveryof compensation and benefit programs.
Mobility Administration - Translate applicable policies,taxation, immigration laws, local legislation and internal controls proceduresin the delivery of programs focused on the seamless movement of talent.
Compensation Design - Design and develop programs, policies,processes and tools using appropriate methodologies to advance organizationalgoals; evaluates market competitiveness, best practice and recommendations forCummins in accordance with established processes that aid in the design oforganizational programs.
Benefits Design - Design and develop programs, policies,processes and tools using appropriate methodologies to advance organizationalgoals; evaluates market competitiveness, best practice and recommendations forCummins in accordance with established processes that aid in the design oforganizational programs.
Data Analytics - Interpret information relying on knowledgeof business or functional frameworks, and leverages analytical problem-solvingtools to draw conclusions and communicate meaningful patterns that drivebusiness insights; assesses quality of data as an initial step of the analysis.
Collaboration - Builds partnerships and workingcollaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
Effective Communication - Develops and delivers multi-modecommunications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs ofdifferent audiences.

5-7 years of relevant work experience required.
Fully administer the global ROANA-driven variablecompensation plan, including SOx controls and quarterly accruals
Support key initiatives from the corporate compensation andcorporate executive compensation teams.
Support day to day Contact Center activities by researching,trouble shooting and resolving compensation issues
Lead improvement efforts (6s, other)
Work with outside vendors in support of compensationprograms
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
