We are looking for a talented Senior Payroll Operations Analyst to join our team for our Business Services Segment. This role is hybrid.
Administers and participates in payroll processing activities for various payroll groups including the preparation, processing and balancing of payroll. Ensures all information received from data interfaces and manual data sources is uploaded to the system without error. Utilizes internal or external payroll technologies for payroll processing activities.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Administers and processes payroll according to internal procedures.
Ensures payments are calculated and paid accurately and timely; ensures proper calculation of taxes and deductions.
Provides customer support to the sites including any off-cycle or replacement payments needed.
Reviews the information prepared for general ledger entries and other accounting and financial reporting activities associated with payroll.
Participates in the review and preparation of data necessary for the filing of payroll related tax returns and miscellaneous withholding forms.
Completes year end process including year end adjustments, year end tax statements and review of year end tax filing information.
Serves as an internal and external resource on payroll related inquiries.
Participates in continuous improvement projects and initiatives; supports the development and maintenance of payroll process documentation.
Ensures compliance with internal controls on payroll systems and compliance with tax and other payroll related legislation.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Minimum 1 to 3years of hands-on day-to-day experience processing payroll using SAP Payroll and/or ADP Global View (PS Client) required
Demonstrates proficiency of more complex payroll processes that include the managing of prevailing wage payments and creation and filing of certified payroll is preferred.
Analyze payroll results to answer complex questions using case management tools (ServiceNow)within a high-volume HR shared services organization is preferred.
Ensure process documentation is updated as new or changed processes are established
Participate in adjusting quarterly tax filing and year end totals
Familiar with completing manual adjustments (Info Type 221) is preferred
Prepare and simulate off-cycle payment requests to help ensure employees are paid on time
Intermediate excel skills including v-lookup and pivot table to be used when validating payrolls is required.
Knowledge building ad-hoc, Wage Type Reporter, pre and post-exception payroll reports is required.
Experience working in a remote environment

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
