We are looking for a talented CRP Production Associate – Salvage First Shift to join our team specializing in logistics for our CBS Segment in Charleston, SC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Performs non-production activities which support the manufacturing processes in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance
Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation, policies and procedures
Performs quality inspections
Participates actively in the identification of ways in which to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development
Applies Cummins Operating System (COS) practices and Operations Excellence (OE) methodology throughout the plant
Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Experience:
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience. Team Based work environment
Capable of learning and operating all machines following safe work practices. Moves to work when needed and available to rotate to different stations based on business requirement following the training matrix
Ability to understand and use process documentation, standardized work procedures and basic quality controls
Participate in continuous improvement activities as required
Complete daily Op Care, Validation, and Check off sheets
Perform 5S activities, maintain TAKT boards and mini-business trackers, and participate/contribute to mini business meetings
Experience operating a CNC machine is a plus
Required to operate all cells and processes related to the Re-manufacturing of
Turbocharges: disassembly, cleaning, and machining
Education, Licenses, Certifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Requires certification to operate powered industrial vehicles (reach trucks, order pickers, pallet rider, etc.) and/or other heavy machinery.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
