We are looking for a talented Reman Associate to join our team specializing in Remanufacturing Production for our Cummins Recon Plant in North Charleston, South Carolina.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.

  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment.

  • Promote interdependence by looking out for one another.

  • Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke and visual standards.

  • Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble product to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.

  • Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.

  • Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

  • Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

  • This position is a turbo disassembly, where used units are completely torn down and the components are salvaged.

  • This job requires someone who enjoys working with their hands and getting dirty.

  • Experience with hand and power tools such as: hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, air guns, and small presses is a plus.

  • We are looking for someone who is reliable, dependable, adaptable, able to take direction, a team player that works well in a group of 8 to 12 people, able to maintain a high level of accuracy, perform repetitive tasks while standing 90 percent of an 8-hourshift, willing to be cross trained to work in different functions when needed.

  • The ideal candidate must be able to lift 35 lbs. regularly as well as follow safety rules and policies.

  • Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
