We are looking for a talented Production Associate to join our team specializing in production salvage for our Cummins Recon Plant in North Charleston, South Carolina.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.

  • Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.

  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment.

  • Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke and visual standards.

  • Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble product to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.

  • Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

  • Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

  • Capable of learning and operating all machines following Safe work practices. Moves to work when needed and able to rotate to different stations based on business need following the training matrix.

  • Ability to understand and use process documentation, standardized work procedures, and basic quality controls.

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities as required.

  • Complete daily Op Care, Validation, and Check off sheets.

  • Perform5S activities, maintain TAKT boards, and mini-business trackers up to date. Participate and contribute to mini business meetings.

  • Experience operating a CNC machine is highly preferred.

  • Required to operate all cell and processes related to the Re-manufacturing of Turbochargers: disassembly, cleaning, and machining.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
