Description
At our Oevel site in Belgium, Cummins is developing innovative Electrolyzer technologies that can generate hydrogen for various applications with zero emissions - contributing to a safe and healthy environment for future generations.
We are currently looking for a Commissioning Team Leader to join the team. The role will report to the Commissioning Group Leader.
Your tasks:
Lead the day-to-day operations of a local team of Installation & Commissioning engineers (Electrolyzers) which travel to customer sites.
Responsible for planning, coordination and organization of work tasks related to installation and commissioning of hydrogen electrolyzers.
Responsible for ensuring availability of tools, PPE and equipment to enable efficient work at different sites.
Prioritize and resolve issues and develop procedures and methods by working with management, engineering, quality control and contractors.
Conduct site readiness surveys prior to dispatching equipment and personnel.
Implementing changes and continuously evaluating internal processes.
Your profile:
Degree in engineering (civil/industrial/electrical/electromechanical) or qualified by relevant experience.
Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience, required.
You have previous experience in team management and a technical background.
You have strong coordination skills and know how to set priorities.
You are flexible and open minded for change.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Exceptional communication skills: adept at developing and delivering multi-mode communications tailored to different audiences.
Self-motivated, takes ownership, and capable of starting new processes from scratch.
Experience in working with continuous process improvement.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal is a mandatory requirement.
