We are looking for an experienced HSE Specialist to join our team specializing i for our Hydrogenics Division in Oevel, Belgium.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Implement and maintain HSE Management Systems on site in accordance with global HSE objectives.
Identify and implement controls to reduce the environmental impacts associated with site operations and to control safety risks.
Support regulatory compliance efforts and other programs applicable at site.
Ensure Health and Safety for our colleagues at international client sites – obtaining relevant documentation before work commences.
Maintain a positive Health and Safety culture on site at all times.
Routine duties include (but are not limited to); gathering of emissions and discharge data, incidents and accidents, risk assessments, toolbox talks, visual site inspections, maintaining waste accumulation areas, labeling waste containers, record keeping and other related duties, as and when required
Existing experience working in an HSE position with demonstrable knowledge of relevant Dutch HSE legislation and regulations is required.
Prevention Officer Level II training as a minimum qualification is required.
A resilient and positive personality with the natural ability to influence people at all levels.
Dutch and English language skills are essential.
