Description
We are looking for a talented Technical Projects Leader to lead a regional team, responsible for all engineering and project execution matters for Hydrogen Electrolyzer customer projects in EMEA
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
The Customer Engineering Solutions Director Europe is responsible for all engineering and design execution matters on Hydrogen Electrolyzer customer projects
Manage and/or oversee the Engineering Project Delivery Managers or Project Managers.
Provide strategic oversight and support to the engineering project delivery team.
Responsible for managing, coordinating and administering all customer projects during all stages of the project lifecycle: from setup, execution, monitoring and controlling to final close out of the project.
Accountable for the overall success of the customer projects, delivering the projects within the scope, cost and schedule baseline, and ensure that the projects are delivered within the safety, quality and environmental best practices set out by Cummins and the client for the project.
Manage Cummin’s business interests, including: the prime contract, revenues, receivables, project viability and profitability. Manage all the projects and their delivery process to meet the customer’s goals, objectives and expectations. Develops strong working relationships with customer technical counterparts to serve as their primary liaison to deliver high quality products and facilitate customer requests
Leads large projects and removes roadblocks for key internal or external stakeholders such as customers and business leadership
Collaborates with internal and external industry peers within Customer Engineering and specific markets
Advises and transfers knowledge of Customer Engineering through coaching and mentoring less experienced engineers
Sets strategic direction for the Customer Engineering discipline
Provides technical leadership for the business's most complex technical challenges.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Relevant academics – ideally within a technical Engineering discipline or equivalent technical leadership experience
Demonstrated leadership ability in a relevant Technical Advisor role through a range of varying business scenarios and/or life-cycles.
Advanced level proficiency in many enterprise and functional competency areas.
Ability to operate with credibility and gravitas within a complex technical environment
