Currently, we are recruiting for a Parts Counter Salesperson for our Service Center in Orlando, FL. This position performs a variety of duties in the service center parts department including retrieving part numbers, preparing purchase orders and processing sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Possessesdetailed knowledge of retail and parts department operations

  • Retrievespart numbers from books, microfiche, electronic catalog and other computerizedsystems as necessary.

  • Experiencein or understanding of core identification and core processing.

  • Preparesand processes purchase orders.

  • Preparescounter billing (invoices)

  • Processescredit card sales

  • Supports and reflects Cumminspractice of being customer led and customer focused.

  • Completes an individual developmentplan for personal and professional improvement.

  • Attends classes, seminars and othertraining sessions as required.

  • Performs additional duties as may beassigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Skills Required:

  • Excellent verbal communicationskills and telephone etiquette

  • Relevant work experience in an automotive / diesel partsdepartment preferred

  • Working knowledge of diesel engines preferred

  • Proficient in Windows and other office equipment andsoftware as required

  • Detail oriented attention to detailand follow through

  • Pleasant and cooperative attitudewith co-workers

  • Prompt arrival and regularattendance at work.

  • Able to balance a heavy workload andwork with limited supervision.

  • Must be well organized

  • Must have good listening skills

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimumtwo years parts department experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Base hourly rate commensurate with experience .
