In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Ensure On-Time Material Availability
By accurately determining material quantities and order dates, you’ll directly support production schedules and customer demand, helping to avoid delays and maintain workflow continuity.
Drive Supplier Performance and Collaboration
You’ll work closely with suppliers and sourcing managers to reduce lead times, resolve constraints, and improve delivery reliability, strengthening the overall supply chain.
Maintain High Quality Standards
Through regular quality checks on planning data and timely disposition of non-conforming materials, you’ll help ensure that only quality materials enter the production process.
Optimize Inventory and Reduce Waste
By managing part changes, ramp-ups/downs, and excess inventory repositioning, you’ll minimize obsolete stock and improve inventory efficiency across the organization.
Support Business Continuity Through Proactive Planning
You’ll provide timely updates on inventory availability and backorder recovery, helping teams make informed decisions and maintain customer satisfaction.
Enhance Supply Chain Visibility and Responsiveness
Your routine reconciliation of order boards and participation in allocation calls will ensure that critical parts and suppliers are closely monitored and issues are addressed swiftly.
Promote a Culture of Safety and Compliance
By adhering to HSE standards and reporting hazards or incidents, you’ll contribute to a safe and compliant work environment.
Foster Team Communication and Continuous Improvement
Through effective communication, training participation, and involvement in improvement projects, you’ll help build a more agile, informed, and collaborative team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Effective Communication Across Stakeholders
Clearly convey complex supply chain information to different audiences—suppliers, internal teams, and leadership—ensuring alignment and timely decision-making.
Customer-Focused Planning and Execution
Prioritize customer needs by managing part changes, minimizing inventory disruptions, and ensuring timely delivery through proactive planning and responsiveness.
Analytical Problem Solving in Complex Environments
Use materials planning systems and tools (e.g., PFEP, KPIs, Excel) to analyze data, resolve supply-demand mismatches, and make informed decisions under pressure.
Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement
Apply best practices in master scheduling, inventory control, and part change management to streamline operations and reduce waste, while continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency.
Inclusive Collaboration and Adaptability
Embrace diverse perspectives and work effectively across functions and cultures to drive results, adapt to change, and support a resilient supply chain.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
