We are looking for a talented Maintenance Manager to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Components Business Segment in Indianapolis, IN

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Manages the planning and execution of the preventive, predictive, and condition based maintenance of production equipment.

  • Manages teams in the maintenance organization.

  • Manages preventative maintenance processes to ensure equipment is available and capable.

  • Develops performance standards and formulates staff development plans.

  • Coaches and leads improvement activities.

  • Manages department budgets.

  • Manages spare parts and indirect materials inventory.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • A STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related bachelor degree or higher, required.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

  • Significant level of relevant work experience, including supervisory and leadership experience, required.

  • This position is responsible for leading work team(s) to ensure success in attaining stated objectives. Incumbent ensures the resources, skills, training, materials and information are available to the team to safely perform their maintenance responsibilities. This position will directly impact production and support functions within the Plainfield facility.

  • Ensure safe and productive plant operations through employee training and resolving of safety issues.

  • Motivate team(s) to ensure success in attaining stated objectives.

  • Support the communication efforts for the Plainfield facility through the Formal Communication Process and consistent discipline. Serve as communications link between team(s) and organization.

  • Develop and promote an environment where team members coach other team members to the point where teams/employees are empowered.

  • Ensure compliance to the annual performance review process. Manage and address performance issues as they occur.

  • Lead departmental and cross-functional task/project teams.

  • Ensure thorough familiarity with policies and procedures relating to standards of business conduct and train and motivate employees.

  • Monitor equipment downtime; assign work to team members to accomplish plant objectives

  • Track Personnel (Hours, Performance, etc.)

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.

Base salary range: $100,000 – $120,000

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
