About the role

Based at our busy Pooraka Branch, this position reports directly to the Admin Manager and is responsible for administrative support across all departments in our branch. Supporting the team in admin and other ad hoc duties, you will provide excellent customer service in our reception area to walk-in and call-in external customers and internal stakeholders within the branch and across Cummins’ Australian network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be front of house, welcoming and directing walk in’s and answering an overflow reception phone line.

  • Provide excellent customer service to our wide range of Cummins customers

  • Management of daily banking

  • Data entry for staff wages timesheet details into payroll

  • Data entry for health and safety requirements and other reporting into excel

  • Manage the administration requirements for service subcontracts

  • Organise internal requirements for new service employees

  • Ensure invoicing, systems and documentation is always complete, accurate and auditable

About you

We are looking for someone who is excited to move into a diverse admin role who wants to grow and stay in this role for a few years. To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • Demonstrated administration experience in an corporate environment

  • Be highly organised with a strong eye for detail

  • A bright, bubbly and professional telephone manner

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ideally have managed payroll administration previously

  • Have managed daily banking and have some familiarity with financial processes / accounts and purchase orders

  • Intermediate skills in Word and Excel

  • Willingness to learn and help other team members

  • Have a positive, upbeat attitude and ability to hit the ground running
