DESCRIPTION

The Accounting Associate - Level I supports the finance and accounting team by assisting with account reconciliation, journal entry preparation, and data entry. This role contributes to the month-end close process and performs basic financial analysis under direct supervision. It is an entry-level position ideal for candidates looking to build foundational experience in accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in compiling, consolidating, and conducting basic analysis of financial data.

  • Prepare basic journal entries and support month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Provide assistance with monthly and annual account reconciliations.

  • Support the creation of tables, charts, and exhibits for financial reports.

  • Participate in basic accounting projects or serve as a team member on cross-functional initiatives.

  • Respond to ad hoc reporting requests and support supplier helpdesk for accounts payable.

  • Maintain compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
