Provides technical support on health, safety and environmental to production and site personnel under the guidance of the site HSE leader. Assists in the analysis, review and sustainability of Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems.

Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE)


Maintains skills and knowledge required to perform job duties.

Determine gaps within corporate HSE initiatives and local health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Build an understanding of and applies HSE culture ensuring it is integral to processes.

Maintain confidentiality and appropriate recordkeeping standards in line with corporate data protection and retention requirements.


Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.

Report any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard through internal reporting processes.

Work as a HSE resource and provide guidance to the site on reporting processes.

Support the implementation and maintenance of hazard identification, incident investigation and risk assessments processes.

Support closure of corrective and preventive actions.

Communicate effectively to create HSE awareness.

Supports environmental management activities.

Perform basic administrative tasks as required.


Participate in HSE inspection and audit programs.

Actively participate and lead incident investigation and reporting.

Gathers data for the analysis of HSE related trends.


Assists in maintenance of local HSE policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Support health, safety, environmental and wellness initiatives.

Support maintenance of Emergency Response processes.

Participate in local employee engagement initiatives to drive an interdependent culture.


Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures.

Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.

Performs quality checks.

Identifies and controls non-conforming material.


Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.

Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements.

Health, Safety and Environment Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis - Examines HSE incidents by completing quality, evidence based investigations with accurate root cause analysis, resulting in effective corrective actions, accurate reporting and avoiding repeated incidents.

Health and Safety Fundamentals - Champions and models proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting and participating in actions to improve health and safety in order to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.

Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems - Interprets and applies international standards through practical application within the operating environment to achieve and maintain an effective management system and external certification.

Risk Assessment - Evaluates hazards within the work environment by applying hazard identification and risk assessment techniques to analyze and prioritize risk, enabling a selection of control measures that reduce risk as low as reasonably practicable.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

A two year University degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Management, Sustainability or related field preferred.


Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in health, safety and environment.

  1. To carry out HSE inspections in order to observe the physicalconditions of work and the work practices and procedure followed by workers andto render advice on measure to be adopted for removing the unsafe physicalconditions and preventing unsafe action by workers and prevention of pollution.

  2. Supports work related to Environment IncidentAnalysis, compliance with environment norms & regulations, Tracking ofEnvironment O&T goals, PLANET-2050 Goals

  3. Follow safety requirements- LOTO, Machine Guarding, Chemical SafetyManagement in ETP/STP Area

4.Operation& Maintenance of ETP/STP -Zero Liquid Discharge plant andother HSE activities

  1. To involve in reporting and investigation of incidents in IMSEnablon.

  2. To do the incidents analysis and communicate the fast track(investigation form) and analysed data to all concerned.

  3. To involvein HSE campaigns, Competitions, contest, and other activities which willdevelop and maintain the interest of the workers in establishing andmaintaining safe working condition.

  4. Work with CFT to achive the intended objectives of the Plant HSE & Fire Safety.
