DESCRIPTION

The Sales Enablement Specialist supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of sales training and other enablement initiatives across the organization. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that sales teams and independent distributors have access to high-quality training resources, tools, and platforms to enhance sales effectiveness and drive business growth. The Specialist collaborates closely with training developers, sales teams, and vendors to manage content, systems, and data critical to enablement success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate vendor translations of new and existing training materials.

  • Ensure accurate upload and maintenance of training modules on the Cummins Learning Center (CLC).

  • Support independent distributors in accessing CLC training content.

  • Administer content on the Connect site for the Cummins Sales University (CSU).

  • Compile, tabulate, and summarize data from training evaluations and other surveys.

  • Generate purchase orders and track procurement for the Enablement team.

  • Perform basic updates to e-learning modules and assist with formatting/entry of content into programs.

  • Collaborate with Sales Training Developers to convert technical and sales content into eLearning experiences.

  • Support project management tasks related to enablement programs.

  • Assist with reporting and dashboard development using tools like Power BI or Tableau.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in sales operations, systems administration, or technical support for sales tools.

  • Prior experience in a sales organization preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects and/or manage diverse client needs.

  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and succinctly with strong attention to detail.

Technical Skills & Tools:

  • Proficient in Salesforce and other CRM tools.

  • Familiarity with APIs, data migration, and integrations.

  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Basic coding/scripting skills (e.g., SQL, Python).

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft platforms (SharePoint, Teams, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications and Education:

  • Minimum 2 years of college or university education or equivalent industry experience required.

  • Salesforce CRM expertise is essential.

  • Certification or training in Microsoft platforms, reporting tools, or project management is a plus.
