Job Summary:

Cummins is seeking a proactive Supply Planning Coordinator to join our Supply Chain Planning team. This role, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, involves determining material requirements to support complex business processes such as product launches and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain planning, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to achieving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE): Ensure compliance with HSE standards and report incidents promptly.

  • Quality: Perform quality checks on material planning data and manage non-conforming materials.

  • Delivery: Manage part change requests, coordinate with Product Management for new product launches, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Materials Management: Coordinate inventory builds, review planning parameters, and support supplier agreements.

  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to achieve business goals.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a plus.

  • 5-7 years of experience in supply chain planning or related field.

  • Proficiency in Materials Planning Systems (e.g., Xelus, GOMS) and MS Office Suite.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience in aftermarket planning preferred.

  • Ability to work in a US shift (5 PM to 2 AM IST) and hybrid work environment (Tuesday to Thursday office-based).
