We are looking for a talented Quality Technician to join our team specializing in Quality for our Engine Business Segment in Rocky Mount, NC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Respond to issues, in production or external, that impact Quality.
Provides Step 1-3 in the 7 Step problem solving process.
Supports campaign activities and production issues as requested.
Support quality glidepath initiatives.
Qualifications - External
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Engine knowledge (types, sizes, HP, TQ)
Engine Manufacturing execution system and database knowledge (Examples: PLM (Windchill), CMES, Comptek Reports (Test data), Sciemetric, Toolsnet, Ocularis, Oracle, IMS, Prolink, Datahawk (chemical system)
Engine Manufacturing and Processing Knowledge (Examples: tooling, Torque, Clamp Load, FIPG, Painting, Engine Testing, Error Proofing, Component Measurement, Leak Test, Flow/ Pressure)
Process Monitoring Fundamentals Knowledge (Control Charts/ SPC, Measurement Data, Tolerances, MSA, GR&R, I-MR Charts, DOE)
Microsoft Office Proficient (Excel, Word, Planner, Power BI, Power Point, Access, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
Change Management (VPI/NPI, 6S, Improvement Validation, MCR’s, ER’s, PFMEA/ CP’s, Proc Doc’s)
Aware of Problem Solving Tools (Examples: 7 Step Problem Solving Process, 8D expectations, A3’s, FTA’s, Containment forms, etc)

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
