About the role
We currently have a rare opportunity for an experienced HSE Workers Compensation and Project Manager to join our high performing HSE Team. Based out of our Scoresby Head Office you’ll report to the HSE Director for Cummins South Pacific and work closely with the South Pac HSE team.
Your role will see you:
Manage, develop, and implement programs composed of multiple cross-functional projects, with an initial focus on occupational health
Manage our national workers compensation & injury management programs across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
Develop regional leader relationships and partner with key business stakeholders to ensure successful project completions
Facilitate project planning sessions with internal stakeholders to determine the scope and objectives of each project
Work with business stakeholders to establish project performance goals
Design project plan, develops timeline, identifies project milestones, and tracks performance against performance goals and timeline
Plan and monitor project budget and ensure that project documentation is complete
Participate in knowledge sharing across your South Pac team and the wider Cummins HSE global community
Contribute to the highly engaged environment of our passionate, caring HSE team
You’ll be an engaging HSE professional with experience in workers compensation, injury management and the delivery of HSE projects. To be successful in this role you will possess:
A Bachelor’s degree in HSE or relevant Health Sciences (e.g. Occupational Therapists or Physiotherapy)
Proven experience in a similar role with demonstrated track record in managing national in workers compensation and injury management programs with knowledge of workers compensation legislation in all AUS regions
Experience in working in a national role and engaging stakeholders across diverse locations
Be able to work autonomously and remotely from your team
Experience creating HSE frameworks from the ground up
Flexibility for travel (10% - 25%)
