Mechanical Production Operator – Scoresby
About the role
Working on a Monday-Friday day shift roster (6am-2:30pm), the Production Operator works across all facets of our varied engine/packaged product production line. You’ll be responsible for the operation of machinery, quality control, product assembly and general warehouse duties as required.
You will also;
Assemble engine packaged products according customer requirements.
Ensure accurate reporting of timesheets, job cards and manufacturing orders.
Recommend, contribute to and support the implementation of process improvement initiatives.
General warehousing duties
Ensure all tooling and equipment are maintained in an appropriate manner.
Take reasonable care to protect own health & safety & that of others.
Ensure that self & others use personal protective equipment in accordance with Cummins policy guidelines.
Actively participate in team-building and community involvement activities.
Experience operating powered and non-powered hand tools is essential
A mechanical aptitude and experience in a similar role is advantageous
Forklift licence and Crane experience is advantages
Great communication skills
A team player and punctual
No prior engine experience is necessary
