Machining/Fab Engineer (Hybrid)
We are looking for a talented:
Machining/Fabrication Engineer (Hybrid)
To join our team specializing in MANUFACTURING, for our Power Systems Business
(Hybrid Role): This role is Based out of Seymour, IN , with some blend of On-site/Remote work expected. Candidates can expect, likely, 2-3 days/week, onsite.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Creating and maintaining manufacturing processes to support engine building
Support production of components, such as Cylinder Block and Heads, Connecting Rods, and various miscellaneous components.
Be part of the sole group, to oversee application of tools and equipment in a safe and productive manor to create these products
Apply Cutting tools, Work holding Fixtures and CNC machining centers
Be part of the fabrication process (Laser cutting, Bending, Welding, and Brazing)
A Member of a 10-person technical team in support of a broad cross functional group, including Materials, Operations, Quality and Maintenance all with shared plant goals
Responding to immediate dynamic production needs.
Longer term work, could include designing and executing projects to improve Tools, Processes, Safety/Ergo scores, and in support of new product/component introduction.
May be required, to supervise or instruct Manufacturing (Machining) Engineers, AMA's, Interns/Co-ops, School to Work students, while having direct machining support responsibilities.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
College, university, or equivalent bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any other relevant technical discipline, is required.
Minimum 3 years of work experience, in a related field is required.
In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, 7 Years experience is (Preferred)
Experience with: CAD modeling software, Fanuc, Siemens and Okuma control systems. As well as Geometric Design & Tolerancing (GD&T), CNC programs (A Plus)

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
