Electronic Systems Technical Specialist 电控系统技术专家


  • Understand market-specific electrical and control system requirements and translate requirements into specifications for diesel genset or power package.

  • Contribute as a team member with sales/Customer Engineering to support OEMs in their new product development.

  • Work with Application Engineering to identify specification & engine performance

  • Support the development and release of the electrical and controls aspects of low volume diesel engine genset and power package solutions that meet strategic customer requirements.

  • Design Oil & Gas DPM control panel and build CS IV power package control panel database to achieve the goal of standardized power package option.

  • Develop engineering electrical wiring diagram for control panel system and instrumentation circuits of power package.

  • Contributes to the solution for complex technical problems; provides resources, removes barriers and ensures application of common approaches.

  • Design customized control system for OEMs and customer, while meet engine control & customer requirements and reduce installation cost.

  • Ensure that system designs provide adequate protection of Cummins supplied equipment against electrical faults.

  • Define the electrical and controls related validation testing necessary to assure a high-quality product and installation.

  • Define and procure instrumentation and test equipment needed to carry out electrical & controls validation testing.

  • Guidance and training technicians, dealing with the problems at workshop.

  • Deliver training to OEMs about Cummins power package, installation requirements.

  • Act as a liaison to communicate with OEMs about product change and new product introduction of Cummins power package


Working Experience

  • At least 7 years technical experience in engine industry

  • Electrical system design and protection

  • Understanding of motor/drive demands and their impact on genset design – power factors, motor starting transients, harmonics, etc.

  • Good capability of electrical schematic diagram & Creo 3D drawing

  • Experience of working with suppliers and interaction with customers

  • Familiar with genset control and industrial control principle

  • Problem solving of product failure at customers

  • Experience of Oil & Gas drilling power module application is a plus

  • Agile and adaptable to changes


  • Bachelor’s degree or above

  • Major in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Internal Combustion Engines, or Automotive Engineering, or Construction Equipment Engineering or related technical fields.

Cultural / Language

  • English as working language. Be able to work in a global team environment
