We are currently seeking an Engine Trainer to join our team that can be based out of either Surrey, Saskatoon or Winnipeg.
Your responsibilities may include:
Delivertechnical product (engineand associated equipment) training to CWC (Cummins Western Canada), Dealer and Customer technicians.
Achieve and/or maintain Cummins Inc Trainer qualification status.
Work closely with other trainers to deliver quality training and foster a team environment.
Conduct weekly technical engine training courses in classroom and lab setting for CWC, OEM dealers and end use customers.
Test, score and evaluate technicians on written and hands-on testing.
Prepare classroom materials in advance of training class.
Maintain engine training modules and associated equipment.
Achieve and maintain all necessary engineplatformand associated equipmenttraining qualifications from Cummins Inc as training demand requires.
Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada without sponsorship.
Interprovincial(Red Seal)Heavy Duty, Commercial Transport or Automotive Certification.
Prior training experience will be considereda valuableasset.
Superior technical understanding and repair capabilities on mainstream Cummins engine models (Automotive/Industrial engines)or comparable competitive diesel engine & systems.
Superior ability with Cummins INSITE, QSOL and understanding of BETT.
Ability to communicate detailed technical concepts in a clear and concise format.
Ability and enthusiasm to coach and teach technical skills.
Ability to adapt tounexpected orchanging customer requirements.
- Dependent on our placement of and the candidate’s willingness to be located strategically, this position will require up to 50% travel.Most of the travel will be within Western Canada except for the occasional travel to the US.
Our Pre-Employment Background Screening process consists of a Criminal Background Check as well as Education and Work Experience Verification.
Specific Tickets / Licenses are checked as required, and Drivers Abstracts are required for any position where driving is part of the job.
