We are looking for a talented Field Service Mechanic to join our high performing field service team. The Gunnedah Basin mining region is home to over 170 Cummins High Horsepower engines , powering a range of mining equipment. And you could be the first responder to fix and repair these engines.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

-First responder to breakdown events

-Fleet maintenance

-Capturing engine data

-Fault diagnostics

-Diverse range engine repairs, both major and minor

-Working autonomously as well as having the ability to work in a great team environment

-Work with other major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)

-The face of Cummins at the customer site

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

-Field service experience preferred coupled with heavy duty engine experience

-Relevant trade qualification (Heavy Diesel preferred but not necessary)

-Strong engine diagnostic experience

-The ability to work autonomously/remotely for extended periods

-A genuine commitment to workplace safety

-A valid driver’s license

-Good interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
