If you are driven and motivated to become part of a dynamic team, our Surrey Branch has an opening for a Service Writer for a contract term for 1 Year with a possibility of extension . Reporting to Service Manager, you will be responsible for service advising duties such as scheduling customer repairs and creating repair plans. Additional responsibilities are described below.

Additionalresponsibilities are described below:

  • Preparing work orders, customerestimates, invoices and reports as required

  • Scheduling customer repairs andpreventative maintenance

  • Communicating with customers on allaspects of repairs

  • Creating, entering and closingwarranty claims

  • Creating invoices and reports

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Previous service writer experiencein an automotive or heavy duty industry is an asset

  • Parts oriented or a mechanicalknowledge will be an asset

  • Computer skills (Excel, Word,PowerPoint, BMS)

  • Excellent communication andorganizational skills

  • Must be able to work under pressure

  • Excellent phone manner and abilityto deal with customers directly

  • Must be able to multi-task and workas a member of the team

  • Must display sound judgment andmaturity

  • Must be able to learn quickly andsolve problems

  • Flexible with respect to workinghours

  • Bilingual in English & Punjabiis considered an asset

This position will work Monday - Friday afternoon shift (4:00 PM to Midnight). Please note that any future shift changes that may occur are made in accordance with the terms and conditions of employment.
