If you have excellent customer service skills, a strong background in warehouse and distribution and are used to working to KPI’s, this role could be for you. We are currently seeking a Parts Supervisor to join our close-knit team in Port Hedland.

About the role:

You’ll be based in our busy Port Hedland Branch where the focus is on our industry leading On-Highway, Power Generation engines and products.Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will be to support both internal and external customers, with the sale and supply of parts to a wide range of customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing customer orders

  • Meet and Greet customers on the front end counter and deal with enquiries

  • Warehouse management – picking and packing parts

  • The delivery & quoting of parts

  • Assist in the Parts functions of inventory ordering, cycle counting and freight management

  • Maintain departmental KPI’s and focus on continuous improvement

  • Support other functions in the branch and in cross functional roles

  • Have 1 direct report – the Store Person

About you

  • Previous warehousing or distribution experience is essential

  • Proven customer service experience and a genuine commitment to delivering a first class service

  • Previous experience in managing a small team is desirable

  • Parts interpretation experience is advantageous

  • A current Forklift and Drivers Licence is a must!

  • Has demonstrated ability in written and verbal communication skills

  • Intermediate to advance level of computer literacy (Excel)

  • Willingness and flexibility to do over time work and call outs (after hours)

  • Ability to work in an environment that can be very hot and humid
