DESCRIPTION
Coordinates facilities changes and improvements; maintains relationships with various suppliers and vendors of services provided to the facility; communicates changes and improvements to affected facility occupants. Performs activities under moderate supervision.
We are looking for a talented Facilities Associate/CDL Class A Driver to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT.
Key Responsibilities:
Partners with customers, facilities, contractors and others to provide project management, design, quotes, scheduling, and coordination for facility-related projects. Coordinates with facilities management to schedule work and special projects for the assigned facility. Works with corporate indirect purchasing to understand supplier base, consolidate suppliers, put appropriate contacts into place, and negotiate cost reductions with suppliers to the facility; maintains relationships with various suppliers and vendors of services provided to the facility; coordinates with furniture and office equipment vendors to ensure appropriate furnishings and services. Conducts improvements and needs analyses; assists with planning for changes and improvements; schedules and implements plan; reviews results upon completion. Communicates changes and improvements to affected facility occupants. Conducts with developing, documenting, and reporting budgets for approval process; creates and writes purchase orders; approves payment of invoices. Coordinates real estate project and construction project implementation. Learns to update, edit and print CAD layouts and master plans; manages floor space and office space all locations within master plan. Coordinates installation of communications equipment with internal and external suppliers and customers. Participates in improvement processes; actively participates in self-and team audits and resulting process improvements.

Facilities Maintenance - Assesses the condition of the facility including its systems, structure, interiors, exteriors and grounds; manages facility operations and maintenance activities; develops and operates asset management systems for Preventative Maintenance's that uses criticality analysis, predictive tools and prioritization.
Facilities Operation - Manages occupant services (parking, janitorial services, food services, concierge, facility helpdesk, security and safety); manages the maintenance contracting process; develops and manages the facility’s operational planning requirements (temperature control, lighting, equipment replacement, water treatment and so forth).

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Job Summary
- The primary function of this role is a Delivery Driver, including but not limited to; daily driving to/from Customer sites, coordinating with Facilities and Customers to schedule deliveries/pick ups, road tests, etc.
Key Responsibilities
Under minimal supervision, partner with Customers, Facilities, Contractors and others to provide support, scheduling and coordination for facility-related projects.
Perform other duties as needed within Parts, Warehouse and Facilities that may include managing stock levels, shipping and receiving parts, warehouse activities, inventory management related tasks, core processing or other related duties as assigned by management.
Actively participate in ways to improve job responsibilities (including self-improvement and processes) while promoting and implementing best practices.
Develop and maintain positive relationships by communicating with internal and external customers by phone and in person at local branches.
Parts and Service hot shot runs
Fleet vehicle DOT and Pm tracking and scheduling with vendors
Fleet vehicle damage scheduling and tracking of vendor repairs.
Assisting with building HSE compliance tasks daily, weekly, and monthly inspections.

- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position requires a CDL (Med-Card) and will be a part of the FMCSA pool. We will also be required to complete a DMV driving report for this position.
A current valid CDL is required for this role.
This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free of major violations
This role is subject to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) drug and alcohol testing requirements and ongoing random drug and alcohol testing
This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Requires some relevant work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
CDL Class A with Passenger endorsement required.
Ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have experience with inventory and warehouse/logistic processes.
Must be able to physically lift 50 pounds occasionally, wear required personal protective equipment
Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance at Customer sites and Cummins Facilities.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
