This job is designed to maintain, repair tooling and equipment on the facility grounds. Including building, tooling inspections, general maintenance and custodial duties.
General duties of the West Valley City, UT -based Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to include:
Bi-Monthly clean out of steam cleaner sump
Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical and general facility problems and promptly notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Maintain company and product confidentiality.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and a high level of personal credibility and integrity with customers, management, and co-workers.
Stay apprised of new techniques relevant to the work being performed; achieve and maintain technical competency.
Scheduling and coordinating major repairs with outside vendors when all other avenues have been exhausted.
Adhere to all Company policies and departmental procedures and rules.
Miscellaneous facility repairs as required.
Knowing and following all Company safety rules, including maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
Always working as safely as possible, and participating in hazard identification activities.

Shop tool crib organization
Jack stand/lifting device/tranny jacks
Weekly eyewash station inspections/maintenance
Portable automotive lifting device
Chains and rigging equipment
Ladders and moveable stairs
Generator lift table
Shop spill stations and signage
Parts washer and maintenance
OWS and coelescing filter
Grinders and chop saw
Above ground storage tanks
Shop fall equipment

Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications
High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
Knowledge and use of hand tools and general handyman abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to document damage and repairs, as well as work with vendors on repair quotes and billing.
Any type of general maintenance experience, especially in the automotive industry or general contracting for repair desired.
Ability to line out own projects and complete projects from start to finish with little direction desired.

Must have the physical ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Protective Glasses, Protective Gloves, and Protective Footwear as required.

Base pay commensurate with experience.
