About the branch

You’ll be based at our busy Wetherill Park branch where the focus is on our industry leading On-Highway engine product range. This is a busy, professional environment where our outstanding level of customer support is matched only by our dedication to a safe, considerate and inclusive work environment.

About the role

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll be working with Cummins On-Highway, high-horse power (HHP) and Power Generation products. Primarily focused in the On-Highway sector, much of your work will be engine rebuilds, followed by fault-finding, planned maintenance and some minimal servicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair engines and engine sub-systems

  • Repair and re-manufacture engine sub-components

  • Troubleshoot and test using the engine dynometer

  • Work closely with your immediate team and other Cummins employees

  • Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and contractors

  • Keep your paperwork up to date and accurate

  • Do every task safely, every single day

About you

  • You have an appropriate trade qualification (Light Automotive or Heavy Duty)

  • Your previous exposure to diesel engines is helpful

  • You have strong trouble shooting, diagnostic and inspecting exposure

  • Your “do things right the first-time attitude” has held you in good stead

  • You understand the importance of following systems/procedures

  • You have a positive and motivated approach to work

  • You love working with customers
