We are looking for a talented Electrician to join our Power Generation Team in Wetherill Park . This role will see you as part of a team of field-based technicians specialising in repairing and maintaining high horsepower, prime and standby generators and working independently at our customer sites.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Working on generator sets and engine control panels, Scheduled and unscheduled service works

• Troubleshooting and diagnostics on engines up to 3350KVA

• Modifying wiring looms/diagrams

• Commissioning of new generators/systems, transfer switches and master controllers

• Working closely with the Mechanical Service team

• Completing all work with a high focus on safety

• Participate in an AH on call roster

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Be a trade qualified electrician

• Hold a current electrical supervisor’s and or electrical contractor’s license

• A current, valid driver’s license

• Previous industrial experience and a desire to upskill with Cummins product training

• Solid diagnostic and strong PC skills

• Excellent teamwork and customer service skills

• Have worked in an environment where a code of conduct is embedded

• Put safety first, every task every day

• Previous experience in Power Generation products would be highly regarded but not essential

• Some travel required, Metro Sydney based
