We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our Distribution Business in White Bear Lake, MN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
-Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop.
-Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools.
-Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles.
-Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
-Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products.
-Maintain own tools.
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
-Primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics.
-Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality.
-Completes complex internal engine repairs.
-Performs engine overhauls with limited direct supervision.
-Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools.
-Larger more complicated engine rebuilds.
-Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation.
-Seeking Intermediate and/or Advanced Technician with Internal Engine experience including overhauls.
-This role will require a completed DMV driving report but no Driver Qualification file.
-This position will be a part of the FTA pool.
Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience. This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age
This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
This position does not require a CDL but would be nice to have, a CDL may be required to obtain upon hire.
