Cummins is looking for an extraordinary Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to be located at our White Bear Lake, Minnesota location.

Responsible for the development and preparation of forecasting, analyzing, and evaluating financial plans and budgets for the assigned business unit or corporation.
Develops and prepares annual operating budgets and/or periodic financial reports.
Analyzes, evaluates, and develops forecasting models.
Identifies to management potential areas of opportunities and risk.
Designs and develops strategic financial analysis projects as necessary.
Manages a team of Financial Analysts.
Coaches and mentors financial analysts; assigns work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assesses performance and provides feedback to direct reports.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required. Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred.
Significant experience required, including supervisory experience. (5 plus years preferred)
Scope involves over $800M in revenue and nearly 30 locations across the Midwest states (Central Region) in the US.
Lead/Support SBP – Synchronized Business Planning for the region.
Develop, analyze and publish regular internal reports to management.
Support closing the books and ensuring validity and appropriate understanding of financial results.
Drive continuous improvement across the region through finance functional excellence covering people development, internal controls, processes and tools (including systems) and business partnering.
Work close to operations and management in analyzing projects and evaluating and approving savings.
Ability to lead others - both those directly reporting to this position and individuals outside of direct influence.
Outstanding teamwork and business partnership.
Organization skills, time management and attention to deadlines.
