Cummins Wodonga is seeking skilled Heavy Vehicle and Light Vehicle Mechanics to join our Workshop team.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: ** **
Perform hands-on repairs and preventative maintenance on the latest Cummins diesel engines
Troubleshoot and diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic tools
Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and /or engine components
Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
Work with other major Heavy Duty truck OEM’s such as Kenworth & Western Star
Build your technical expertise with on-the-job training and OEM support
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Mechanical trades qualified as Heavy Diesel Mechanic or plant mechanic. Light vehicle with heavy vehicle experience may also be considered
• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM)
QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Information
Full Time / 38 hours per week
Overtime as required – Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours
All your Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms are provided and laundered
Domestic Relocation from across Australia may be offered for the right candidate
Local Valid Drivers License (Preferred)
Experience:
Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Cert III)
Intermediate level of workshop or field service experience required
Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
Heavy Vehicle Experience preferred
HR License preferred
