AvK Sales Manager - Asia 销售经理-亚洲

Description

  • To be a collaborative key member of the global AvK team supporting growth from within China, and elsewhere in Asia as aligned with global growth strategies. Up to 60/40 workload split across China/Rest of Asia

  • Responsible for Regional forecasting for AvK type products, supporting CGT China SBP process as needed

  • Owns the AvK type business project quotation process within region, using CAMOS or other configurators. Ensuring timely and efficient quote response to the customer

  • Responsible for achieving profitable sales targets and ensures customer satisfaction.

  • Works cross-functionally to deploy cost savings initiatives as identified.

  • Leads the utilization of Salesforce CRM for tracking all AvK type business Opportunity pipelines [AvK brand and STAMFORD brand, as appropriate]

  • Develops pricing strategy for acquisition targets, ensuring alignment to global AvK pricing - ensuring price approvals gained according to policy

  • Provides input into new product development projects to fuel future growth

  • Has solid understanding of AvK type business product market within China and Asia – Engine OEMs, Turbine, Shipyard

Qualifications

Skills and Experiences

  • Technical background with commercial experience – e.g technical solution sales

  • Experience in rotating machines – motors / drives / alternators preferred

  • Selling into shipyards, engine OEMs, power plant, EPCs, turbine manufacturers

  • Understanding of end to end project business / timelines - marine, power plant, rail, turbine

  • Understands project value chain…. where to influence [design bureau, marine architect, engineering consultants, OEMs, end users or operators]

  • Make commercial quotations, also able to track Lead/Opportunity pipeline end to end – be measured on sales revenue, margin etc.. but also lead generation, opportunity conversion etc..

  • Good understanding of China power generation market across the above landscape

  • Experience in wider Asia markets – understanding of key players [Engine/Turbine OEMs, shipyards]

  • Has the potential to become the ‘go to’ person for this project type business

  • Good English language skills –spoken/written, including some technical vocabulary

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in sales, marketing, technical or a related subject required, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
